Modio is a file transfer program designed to work between your Windows-based PC and your Xbox 360 system. Essentially, it is a tool for modifying and sharing/downloading game save files.

Starting off with Modio, you should login with your username and password. Under the quick actions section, you are able to open a save, open from a device, explore a device and download a gamesave. Gamesaves here are shared over a web service and include a pretty nice list of supported games.

In addition to the popular function of modifying saved games, you can also use Modio to unlock achievements and use its live chat feature to chat with other users of Modio.

Thanks its intuitive user interface and help documentation available, Modio is suitable for pretty much most users and requires no special knowledge to use.

Modio is provided under a freeware license on Windows from file managers with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 5.3 is the latest version last time we checked.

What version of Windows can Modio run on?

Modio can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the operating system shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista having been tested. Windows XP is supported. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit downloads.
